Participants will experience as learners themselves the interrelatedness of listening, speaking, reading and writing to promote increased reading comprehension and receive step-by-step instructions for how to implement the approach. Additional focus is also on how to facilitate structured conversations giving students consistent opportunities to orally process what they are learning, to make meaning in the company of their peers, and to read and write for an authentic purposes, all while bolstering reading comprehension
